I know it's not supported but I can't get X1 to see any of my email in Outlook 2013. Anyone have any idea of x1 is working to support 2013 when it comes out?

X1® Professional Client Version 6.7.4
For about a year 6.7.3 (Build 4054dh) was stable.
I upgraded to 6.7.4 (Build 4054eu) for it's advantages described above.
However, I experience unexpected crashes in file search.
(For certaing search criteria, X1 does not even report an error. It just disappears.)
How do I roll back to the older release without having to rebuild the index of ~10Mio files?
Thanks

What I mean is that there have been few reports of this "attachment issue" with the latest build of 6.7.4. To me that suggests that it is not "unfixable" at your end. Indeed, it may be a symptom of something else on your PC, a dodgy PST file for example.
It is surprising how a minor issue like that can cause no problems with some software, or versions of it, but crashes something else.
By the way, as you can see from my signature, I do not work for X1. I just use the software. Have done for many years.

Not sure what you mean here
"As you seem to be a rare victim of this attachments "disease", you might want to get the symptoms sorted out."
The issue is an X1 problem and only seen on 6.7.4. I send a new log, and I can send another if needed. I hope you plan to investigate this further. Happy to assist in any way I can.

That makes it their problem, unless someone at X1 takes pity on you.
As you seem to be a rare victim of this attachments "disease", you might want to get the symptoms sorted out.
Advice on such circumstances ios sometimes to wipe X1 from your PC completely, without saving your settings, and then to reinstall. But if you do that you will need to re enter the serial number. That probably came from your IT department.
Before you do anything like that, go to Help >> Register product and copy the code you see there. Then keep a copy in a safe place.

X1 was installed by our IT department. I don't have a personal account or any login details.
Do I now need to get my IT to reinstall this?, I'm a home worker so getting IT updates is hard work and a pain.

staneee - Open your X1. Go to Help > About X1. If the version is 6.7.4 but the build number is something other than 4054eu you'll want to install the 4054eu posted by Tod earlier in this discussion: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=5589&p=18269#p18234

I've just upgraded to 6.7.4 and found the preview plane issue too. I've downloaded the update and clicked repair option. but this doesn't fix my issue.
My preview plan issue is only with emails that contain attachments.
I can happily scroll through emails Ok until I hit one with attachments, X1 immediately closes.
Has this been fixed?
How do I revert back to an older version.
I've actually submitted a bug report (with diagnostic report) but not received any emails to say it was submitted successfully.

Hi, Tod -- I downloaded and installed the newer ('de-bugged') version.
So far so good; I tried a search for one of the emails which was making the previous version crash -- seems to be working okay now.
Will update in case some other problem turns up.
(Funny that no one else complained about this problem, tho!)

rkr3,
We can certainly give you a link to downgrading to 6.7.3 and if you save settings when you uninstall, you will not be required to reindex. However, we were able to pinpoint the problem last night and have a new build that we would really like you to try out and confirm that the crash goes away. Could you download this version and upgrade your current install to this version. This won't require any reindexing, either.

Thanks for the reply.
However, can I revert back to the previous version -- it's extremely inconvenient to keep on switching the preview pane On and Off.
How do I get back to the previous version? Where can I download the previous executable? And would reinstalling the previous version mean a complete re-indexing is required?
Thanks

Hi rkr3,
Thank you for this report. We are chasing this bug now. I have no workarounds or info yet. I'll let you know what's going on as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it's probably best to turn off the preview for email for now until we figure out what's wrong.

I'm having a peculiar problem after the update -- searching for CERTAIN emails causes X1 to immediately crash and exit.
I finally figured out that it has something to do with the preview pane -- I did the search after turning the preview pane off, all okay.
The funny thing is that (1) It only happens with CERTAIN emails (I don't know what the distinguishing feature of the particular email is; all I can tell is that it happens with certain HTML formatted emails, but NOT all HTML formatted emails), and (2) there was no problem with previewing the same emails in the previous version before the update.
Any ideas?

I think that's the first time a 6.x branch has told me there's an update available via auto checking.
It worked great though! Updated with a few clicks and we're off and racing again.
