X1 Pro 7 Beta Status

I grew frustrated with version 6.7 because it really slows down my system. More so, information retrieval is very, very slow. I was waiting for version 7 of X1 to come out of beta, but decided to take the plunge. I figured it could not be any worse the 6.7 in terms of resource use and speed. To my surprise I have not experienced any of the problems that so many users have mentioned on this forum. Before installation I made sure that I disabled all of the services linked with version 6.7 (and have kept them disabled). Installation was smooth and seamless, accessing my data is infinitely faster than with version 6.7, and resource us has gone way down. I can actually use my laptop when version 7 is indexing.
