X1 Search 8.2.1: Gmail does not PREVIEW or OPEN Messages

Are there any related errors in the x1.log or x1servicehost.log files in the logs subfolder in the X1 data folder (by default is %HOME%\AppData\Local\X1 Search)?

Have you checked the option "Store images from emails" in Gmail configuration dialog?
