X1 window not accessible

No need for a new licence. The old one will still work.

Those numbers look wrong.

I have:

Left=1804
Top=34

and, on another machine

Left=199
Top=86

I can see of no reason for "-" numbers.

The correct numbers will depend on your monitor configuration.

My first move would be to shut X1. Create a copy of the X1config.ini file. Edit the existing one. Delete those wonky numbers. Leave them empty and X1 will not try to use them. With luck it will recreate sane numbers.
